Essentials plan terms

What a plan includes, what it costs, how the reviews work, and how it ends. These terms sit under the End User Licence Agreement and do not replace it. All fees are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.

1. What you are buying

1.1 The subscription

An Essentials subscription covers one organisation and up to ten named users. It includes the First Risk Baseline, the baseline refreshed monthly, the action workflow, the pack and its export, and one onboarding Quick Review inside the first 30 days.

There is one pack, and it does both jobs: it is what your leadership reads, and it is what you send when somebody asks you for proof.

1.2 The monthly refresh is the product

The baseline shows where your organisation stands. The refresh shows what changed, what closed, what aged and what evidence arrived. A subscription that is never requested to refresh still incurs its fees.

1.3 A named operator

Essentials requires a named operator inside your organisation. MyRISK does not operate the subscription on your behalf. What you do with the pack, and in which meeting, is yours to decide.

2.1 GST and payment

All fees are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added at checkout. Fees are payable by card unless we have agreed to invoice you in writing.

2.2 Annual is the basis; monthly costs 10% more

The term is twelve months either way. Annual payment in advance is the standard basis. Paying by the month is the annual price plus 10%, divided by twelve and rounded to the nearest A$5 — A$330, A$515, A$880. It is a premium for paying monthly, not a discount for paying annually, and it does not make the subscription cancellable month to month.

Where a discounted rate has been paid in advance, those fees are not refundable — End User Licence Agreement clause 2(f)(i).

2.3 Moving between plans

You may move up a plan at any time, paying the difference pro rata. A move down takes effect at your next renewal.

2.4 Price changes

MyRISK may change list prices. A change applies to your subscription from its next renewal, not during a term already paid for.

3. Reviews

3.1 What a review is

A Quick Review is one hour: a MyRISK risk officer reads your refreshed baseline and your action register, and returns what changed, what is stuck and what to escalate. A Full Review is half a day, with pack QA and escalation notes.

3.2 Reviews do not roll over

A review not taken in its period is not carried into the next one, and is not refunded.

3.3 One rebooking

A review missed by you may be rebooked once, within the same quarter.

3.4 A review ends at its time allowance

Where more time is needed, the next review is booked or another is bought. A review does not run on.

3.5 Capacity

Full Review plans are capacity-limited. MyRISK confirms capacity before your first booking and may decline to start a plan it cannot staff.

4. Term, notice and refunds

These are the End User Licence Agreement's terms, restated. They are not new.

4.1 Two months’ notice, either side

Either party may end the agreement on two months’ written notice. The licence and the fees continue through the notice period — clause 2(f)(i). The practical effect is that the shortest subscription is three months, not one.

4.2 No early termination, and no refund

Except on notice under 4.1, the agreement runs for its term — clause 2(i)(i). If you end the licence early you pay the remainder of the term’s fees, and fees already paid are not refunded — clause 2(f).

5. The First Risk Baseline

5.1 Free until 31 December 2026

The Baseline is free until 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027 it is A$495, paid before the run, and free only at an event or programme approved in advance with a capped number, or on an approved adviser introduction.

5.2 Never credited against a subscription

A Baseline fee is not credited against a later subscription, discounted or refunded.

5.3 What you get for it

We walk you through entering your own inputs, and the run takes about fifteen minutes. You receive your First Risk Baseline across the full risk domain set: the risks, their ratings, the enterprise consequences, likely owners and priority actions, in the pack you can take straight into your own meeting and send on when somebody asks for proof.

It is a point in time. The monthly refresh, the action workflow and a MyRISK risk officer reading your baseline back to you are what a subscription adds.

6. The Event Pack

One named event: three months of access, a point-in-time baseline and proof pack, three monthly refreshes, and one Full Review. It is not a subscription, does not renew, and ends at three months.

7. Bought through a partner

7.1 We hold the contract

Where an approved partner resells Essentials, MyRISK holds the contract, the renewal and price governance, and these terms apply to you unchanged. A partner cannot waive a term, change a price or replace the operator.

7.2 An adviser may deliver your reviews

Where you work with an approved adviser, that adviser may deliver your Quick Reviews, and may deliver a Full Review in place of MyRISK, working to the same review checklist.

8. What Essentials is, and is not

Essentials produces management information, not assurance. Findings reflect the information available at the time and are decision-support inputs, not confirmation that any incident, breach, non-compliance or loss event occurred. Every risk in your register was accepted, changed or added by a person at your organisation before it entered the register. Ratings, scenarios and recommended actions should be considered alongside management judgement, legal and regulatory advice, and site-specific operational evidence.

Nothing in these terms is a promise that a pack, register or refresh will satisfy any regulator, auditor, insurer or counterparty.
