Risk management framework

The structure that says how an organisation identifies, assesses, treats and reports risk.

What it means

A risk management framework sets out the policy, roles, appetite, processes and reporting lines through which an organisation manages risk. ISO 31000 is the general international standard; sectors and regulators layer their own on top.

Frameworks describe what should happen. The recurring gap is between the documented framework and the operating reality — the framework says risks are reviewed quarterly, and the evidence shows the last review was fourteen months ago.

Where MyRISK fits

What we do about it

MyRISK Consulting exists for that gap specifically: one named workflow, traced against a real recent instance rather than the process map, with acceptance criteria agreed before the work starts. We do not begin from the position that your framework or your platform is wrong.

MyRISK Consulting

Is this the thing you are actually trying to fix?

A definition rarely settles it. Tell us what happened — the request, the finding, the challenge or the incident — and we will say where to start, or that it isn't us.
